Edinburgh Plaza Premium Lounge Location 

The lounge is located at the Departure Hall, Level 2 at Edinburgh Airport. You can take the stairs or lift close to Gate 16, Level 1.

It may be highlighted that the lounge lies airside. You will find it within the restricted area where travelers who need to take departing flights have cleared customs and passport control. It is also the area for transit passengers who have cleared the transit customs and security control section. Please note that an onward flight boarding pass will be required.

Operational Hours of Plaza Premium Lounge Edinburgh 

The lounge remains open from 04:00 am to 21:30 pm on a daily basis. You can access the lounge to spend free time before the scheduled departure of your flight. 

You can definitely spend time in the lounge if there is much time left before your flight or you need to wait for a connecting flight.

Access to Plaza Premium Lounge Edinburgh

You may walk-in to the lounge and present your credit card and boarding pass for entry. It may be highlighted that entrance is not guaranteed and subject to lounge capacity. Those carrying a travel pass can show the same along with the boarding pass. Reservations are not required for Plaza Premium Lounges as of now. The paid access starts from £39.60 for a stay for two hours. 

Apart from this, the Plaza Premium Lounge website also features a section “Access with Bank Cards and Travel Passes” that lists its major bank and travel pass partners whose card members can enjoy free or subsidised access to most of the Plaza Premium Lounge locations. Since Plaza Premium partners with many different banks, travel passes and organisations, access to their lounges may also be offered even though they are not listed.

Other Points to Consider 

You can access the lounge using a Plaza Premium Lounge Pass which can be purchased online through the official website of Plaza Premium. The pass needs to be activated. Thereafter, you will receive lounge passes or vouchers. So, it goes like if your pass has two visits attached with it, two vouchers will be provided to you. 

It may be mentioned that a Plaza Premium Lounge Pass remains valid for one year after activation. Once the validity is over, you are required to get a new pass, as top up facility is not offered by Plaza Premium. 

You can use the pass to purchase access to a related lounge well in advance. In fact, the pass lets you save up to 50% on the walk-in price. 

You are advised to keep your pass handy as it is to be shown when you visit the lounge. If the pass is not available with you, the walk-in charge will apply. 

It may be highlighted that the pass is a revised and digitalised version of the Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card that was offered earlier. Although gift cards are not offered presently, if you had got them earlier and the validity is remaining, you can use them for lounge access. 

Smart Traveler

All the Smart Traveler members can log into their account before the activation of their Plaza Premium lounge pass. The login can be made through the website or mobile app of Smart Traveller. Once logged in, they can see their vouchers in the Smart Traveller wallet. 

Well, if you are not a Smart Traveler member, you will receive the vouchers through an email once you activate your pass or if you did not log into your account before getting it activated.
